FYI Breeders: If you are looking for some wonderful lines of dogs, you have come to the right place. It is safe to assume that you are getting some of the best dogs available today. I have wonderful lines from Music Makers Schnauzers and Schnauzer Lover. The lines are clean with no known instances of liver shunts. While Pinto Pony is in the background of some of my dogs, we have had no issues with liver shunts to date! The liver shunt issue is a huge worry for a lot of breeders, however, I feel that the genetic default is gone from our lines, but I can not guarantee that, however, our 2 year health guarantee is covering any issues that may arise.

Welcome to our little place on the
web. We live on 2.5 acres in the middle of Sam Houston National Forest,
within minutes of Huntsville, Conroe, Humble, Cleveland and Livingston,
Texas. After a drastic change of events (moving from the city, WAY
into the woods), we have decided to concentrate on
raising some of the sweetest home raised Schnauzers, in both standard and
non standard colors and sizes! We have a love for the schnauzer that can
not be expressed in only words. You can see that love in the quality of the
puppies that come from our home.
We produce a limited amount of puppies yearly. However, as time goes by, we will be adding some additional pets to our breeding program! We are looking to add Giant Schnauzers, in standard and non standard colors (black and tan and cream). Keep a watch on the website for updates! Into the Woods Schnauzers is owned by Shaun Carter and Marty Morales, and is managed by our first Toy Parti little girl, Fiona La Fi Fi LaRue! Just call her Fiona, but to us, she is Rue Rue. She is the queen of our house, with no if’s, and’s, or but’s. Her throne room is our bedroom, and she rules with a tough tiny paw, and an attitude to match. We of course have our first two Schnauzers, Mr. Ruff Ruff, and Fritz. We are Fritz’s 2nd home, and his last. It is always busy around here, with the birds that take up a lot of time, the dogs take up just as much. We decided to concentrate on dogs a little more, as we enjoy dealing with "puppy people" a heck of a lot more! We are concentrating on a true love of the both of us, Schnauzers! and, as Fiona would say, "Ruff, Ruff!" - Loosely translated, "Whatever...I am the TRUE QUEEN of this castle!" |

Since we believe in the quality of our puppies, we extend to you a 2 year written health guarantee. We believe in the health of our pups, and want you to feel comfortable with the purchase that you make. Imagine this, a lot of breeders make you buy vitamin or supplements to carry a warranty on your dog. However we feel that if there is a congenital defect, the vitamins or supplements will do nothing about that, so you are spending money on that stuff, when the money could be used to buy lots and lots of toys! |

Also, just a note... While some of the puppies we raise are not considered showable colors or sizes to the AKC, that does not make them any less a Schnauzer. There are lots of people out there that will attempt to make you believe that they are cross bred dogs. THEY ARE NOT, and that statement is nothing further from the truth. These are puppies that the show breeders KILL, sorry to be so blunt, but they do. Just because the genetics go back a little bit, and show some of the dogs that were initially bred into the Standard Schnauzer line, does not make them any less a schnauzer. After generations of breeding, you can do a dna test, and you will not find any Fox Terrier, Rat Terrier, Poodle, Affenpinscher, or Miniature Pinscher genetics in their blood! They are all Schnauzers, and just because you, a person wanting a pet, choose to have a "Toy" or "Tea-Cup" Schnauzer, in a Parti, or Chocolate color does not mean that the puppy should be destroyed when it is born. The original Schnauzer standard from Germany represented what is more overly known as the Toy sized miniature Schnauzer, instead of the Giant sized mini's that we see in the show ring today. That just goes to show that personal agendas were put in motion to allow the larger dogs to win in the show ring. Many Parti, Chocolate, Toy and Tea-Cup Schnauzer owners are dually registering their dogs with APRI, and SHOWING them, and they are beating out the more common Pepper and Salt, Black, and Black and Silver (Phantom) colors every day. Maybe the Schnauzer clubs here in the USA should take note of the exceptional quality of the dogs, and start allowing the white, chocolate, liver pepper, colors to be shown in the AKC ring. In all honesty, I think that they are scared of the fact that their larger dogs will start loosing to the smaller, more proportionately sized pups! So, if you buy a "Toy" or "Tea-Cup" sized Miniature schnauzer, whether it be from Into the Woods Schnauzers, or anyone else, please do not ever hesitate to defend your pup, and tell the person that says that they are not a pure bred, AKC Registered Schnauzer that they do not know what the heck they are talking about!
